cause its a fox body and they are as rigid as cooked spagetti.

i've seen these cars after a few seasons of autocrossing actually deform from side to side if not properly reinforced.

and this lack of rigidity can result in ill-fitting hatchbacks and terrible noises. seat mounts can get loose too.
nothing that can't be fixed, but a 9k car can become a 13k car in a hurry!

theres one at the local drag track here ,... with a chev 350 ... on nitrous ... that runs 8's(1/4 mile) ..... needless to say ..... it twists something wicked when it launches

is it a problem for you to check it out, or ain't no thing?
i think its a 7k car. but i need an unbiased opinion before i can haggle it.
you dnt need to disect it, just tell me of any obvious bodywork, water damage, if it smells like a nutsack or ashtray, and if the engine sounds healthy and takes gears.

I'll look into the car. Might post up on some St. Louis domestic car forums and see if it's owned by anybody on there. I'm not sure where it's located exactly. If you can get an address I would swing by and look at it. Maybe the owner will let me take it for a drive...

well, its not something you encounter everyday, but then again, five oh mustangs live hard lives. and rarely do they get to 160k without some crash damage.

remember, they put down crazy instant torque and have the braking of a 90hp fairmont.
and they're cheap.
