This duplicates a post on TSN. I don't know if thats good or not, so if you all are on both, please forgive the reduncancy.

I just installed a wideband 02 and display.
I'm observing between about 10.2 and 16 as the AF ratio. Average, and idle, about 14.7.
I think it's running too rich when I step on it.
How do I lean the mixture? Reduce fuel pressure (adjustable FPR)? Adjust the Air Mass Meter? What range is recommended?

Well, to the best of my beliefs, the mixture should cycle between rich and lean all the time. It seems as though you are cycling between lean and rich, so why do you think you have a problem?

should cycle between rich and lean at cruise speeds or when you are idle. under hard accel. it should pop right over to full rich.

you sound like you have normal opperation to me.

Quantification is 10.2 Too Rich

I think the trend is normal -- rich on acceleration, lean on deceleration -- my issue is whether 10.2 is too rich, and is 16 too lean?
Before I modified to get these numbers, the car failed emission testing, then I made modifications, now I want to know if I should pass, before I go back to the state.
What's the Mitchel guide?
