ac low pressure inlet

is the low pressure inlet that i need to hook up to for an ac recharge on the compressor itself? i looked around for a lp inlet on the lines and could not one, but on the compressor itself i found a inlet with a cap on it with the letter "L". Is this the inlet im looking for to hook up the recharge kit? car is a 95 9000 cs

Yes, that's it. It looks like a large schrader valve, like a bike tyre valve.

If you buy a can of refrigerant the fitting will only fit on the low pressure side to charge it - the high pressure side uses a different fitting so you can't mix them up and accidentally blow up your filling machine.
