Dealt with that problem a couple of times. Replaced the airbag module in two cars and that fixed it. It's just forward of the backseat ashtray under the armrest/drink/changeholder. The third time a Tech II said it was the drivers seatbelt retractor firing module. It was reset and never came back. Never had the problematic clockspring failure in the steering wheel airbag connection. Good Luck

Maybe. Maybe not.
I set the light one time by pulling fuses randomly while chasing electrical gremlins. Won't do that again.
No, I didn't reset it. I've heard that they have their own little charge stored in case power is interrupted before air bag deployment is required. And that if it sits long enough (the module- not powered up) it will die out and lose the fault code. Don't know how long that is supposed to take. Good Luck.
