97 CSE.. ABS light is erratically lighting up.
I suspec, hope that it's a connector at the ABS ecu issue.
Given that bumps seem to trigger it's appearance.
Sensors have been pulled and examined , found to be in as new appearance.
Will have to find their connection point to Ohm them though.
So.. IS the thing located somewhere behind the ashtray ?
Easiest way to get at it please?

The ABS ecu is under the "aquarium" cover by the windshield under the hood. The connectors for the sensors are cylindrical and the fronts can be tested by removing the cover as well. The rear connectors are under the rear seat. After folding it out of the way, there are styro-foam blocks that pull out of the metal revealing the connectors.

EDIT-resistance across sensors should be 1200ish ohm.

In 1993 the ABS ecu is also right behind the battery.

OK found the wee rascals.
Right front ohms at 1300 left front at 1000 ohms.. Sigh. Book says 900 is new
Curiously recently fitting Aero rims has completely stopped my erratic ABS light appearances. I'm thinking the differing offset of the wider wheels has loaded the (100,000 mile on the car) wheel bearings differently, tightening up slop??) which I have long suspected of being the root ABS light cause. But the bearings do not give any measurable evidence of being out of spec.. Except for the ABS light on long sweepers.
