So when I managed to come to the US for work, I knew I was just going to stay for 3 years. So I decided to do 3 things I've always wanted to.
1. Route 66
2. Drive to Alaska
3. The 11k miles road trip
Last summer, I did Route 66. Spent 18 days and drove for 6500 miles. For this year I was planning on going to Barrow, Alaska. I'd have to drive to Fairbanks and then fly to there. However, the (only) hotel in Barrow messed my room and I had to postpone it for 2012 (hopefully, before April when my visa expires).
So, it leaves me with the 11k miles road trip. Crazy as it sounds, I'm planning to do a round trip of the US driving from Key West all of US1, up to Maine, then all the way to WA and down to SF from Hwy1 and then through Denver, back to Alabama...
So, yeah... I got 4 weeks and a 2002 9-5 with (now) 95k, Imma doit!
