First time I read this, I saw "Was the hooker blow up?"

Me thinks he got the jump, "raced" for 1-2 seconds, saw the Camaro pulling like a train, shut it down, and claimed victory.

 

no what I'm saying is he was reeling me in at the end of 4th but because of traffic we kept having to shut down right at that same time. pay attention a little better folks

 

I believe everyone was commenting on the fact that it takes a hell of a lot more than a stage 3 to beat a supercharged v8. Either you have a monster shot of nawwz or his car is running on 4 out of 8 cylinders.

You might be right. A 383 with a procharger could probably be a bit more than 400whp

 

Was he shifting at 4k RPM?

 

Maybe the guy in the Camaro is one of those guys that puts alot of power to his car but really has no idea how to drive it. Ive seen that alot before.

 

or maybe the Camaro with the procharger is really a honda civic with one of those turbonator things. I agree with stevehayes01, just too many variable. Sounds like a great fishing story though..you know the one where the fish gets bigger everytime you tell the story. Pretty soon the Camaro er...civic will turn into a viper or something.
