Usually those rear main seal leaks are minor enough you can get by if you keep an eye on it - use STP oil treatment every oil change and it will slow the leak. If it's pissing out - your better off replacing the seal.

First attempt will be to try and fix the HG for resale. Will monitor the rear main seal. Crazy Ray's had a couple of NGs/OGs with engines in them and good doors.
