What can I say? Everybody needs a "junker", right?
Well, I took my junker into town to replace a flattened front tire - it drove over a large, erm, spike, and was on the donut.
I took it to a good friend who works for a tire/alignment company, who set the new (used) tire in the back, and realigned the clutter/cluddermobile. It drove!
Being used to the donut, I knew I had to gun it to get up to 15, then into second. Not so with a real tire - it started at about 30, then kicked back at about 37.
Enter the Challenger. He gunned that hemi so damn hard that I felt it in the junker - eventually, at about 40, he overtook me, until I hit third.
I shouted "Hey, I've got a new tire, what's your problem?", and that was the end of the race. I put on the blinker, and let him pull ahead as he flipped me the bird.
If I was in my SAAB, I'd never let a hemi ahead of me.:lol::lol:
(Edit: It may have been an '06 or an '07.. who cares about the recent body changes? My 9-5 hasn't had any since '06!)
