this last weekend my fiance, my parents, my brother, and i went out to the Black Hills/Mount Rushmore area of the state and stayed in cabin up in the mountains there. here are some pics i managed to take of my 9-5. (sorry they lacked a lot of car washes since we were closer to just the small towns.

at the cabin:

I don't like the yellow with the red. My first reaction was "ooh, an Iowa State alum" (yellow and red are ISU's colors, which I also don't like).

It might look all right on a blue or black car, though.

You better have eaten at least once at the Colonial House resturant out there. My god those were the best buffalo burgers I've ever eaten. The side markers should get the yellow tint I think. The yellow headlights and for lights flowing into clear side markers just doesn't flow well to me.

i was really aiming for a unique look for the yellow lights, especially since no one in town has the light film like that. if someone doesn't know my name, they know me as "the guy with red Saab with the yellow headlights" in the 'cruising/racing community' in town. i have been contemplating removing the film off the headlights and leaving the fog light ones on, but i still don't know what i want to do. i got the film from www.laminx.com.

here are some more pics BTW:

Car looks pink due to the contrast hehe, i like the yellow film covers on the headlights, and fogs, i'd take them off the turns tho imo, it's just a little too much with the turns yellow too
