5 spd manual shift rod couplers
Now that I have identifed that the shift rod coupler in my 1990 9k carlsson looks suspect (it's the new type) I am considering options to deal with it.
One way to get another new style coupler and replace the current one. Another route might be to go back to the earlier style but is that actually possible without getting more drastic with the repair (such as by replacing the whole shift rod)?
PFS is one place that sells the new style coupler so no trouble sourcing one.
