yeah - I would say that car is both fast and slick - good luck!
How does all that power handle in the twisties in the convertible?

Thanks!... I'm not in a huge hurry, so I'll just see how it goes here for now....These convertibles were never going to be sports cars, but with full suspension modifications they are hugely better than stock. That is not even taking into account that whatever speed you may lose in the corners compared to a similarly setup 3 or 5 door, will definately be made up for by the massive straight line speed!
Good luck Jeremy, beautiful car.
P.s: I would HIGHLY recommend posting this on saabnet, I was hesistant to spend that kind of money to advertise the car but it paid off big time (19 interested parties, 9 money offers in less than a month).
Thank you!I posted it up on my fb to see if anyone is interested. GLWS.
Like I have said before, if you are in no hurry to sell, then it will sell. Good luck.Thanks!... I'm not in a huge hurry, so I'll just see how it goes here for now....
I knew it was just a matter of time before you saw this and weirded out a little bit.... The simple fact is that I usually go through cars about every 6 months, I've had this one longer than any other car I've ever owned (there's been over 50 now), going on a whole 2 1/2 years now! It's not that I'm bored with her, just time to move on I guess. I get these wild hairs up my butt from time to time......I'm sure I'll regret it whenever I venture out onto the highway and someone in a bmw/mustang/camaro/vette/wrx/etc wants to play..... But I'll find something else to play with. Thinking I'd like that 03 Aero wagon on TSN, tint the windows, some slick wheels, maybe about 300whp....should be interesting......... The dogs'll like it..... http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/class/ci.php3?ph=photos/7444/1 can anyone photoshop a window tint and some aggressive wheels on this?!!!!Whaaaaaat.....
Well I know you've enjoyed it, gotta keep on going, though. Even though I haven't driven since June and won't drive til December, and my car still needs some more fuel before it's finished, I've thought about it waaaay down the line and I'll want something else at some point, too. Hopefully I'll be able to keep the Saab when that time comes.I knew it was just a matter of time before you saw this and weirded out a little bit.... Let me think about it for a second.... okay, no....WHAT? just buy something else and let me drive it till its sold
you know, so its out of your way lol

It's a lot of fun, I just don't get a lot of chances to use it very often, I have a 5 mile commute to work on 35-40mph roads, It's a mean machine for sure... I rarely get the chance to get out on the highway, and when I do, there's just nobody to play with here in Columbia....Knowing that you're faster than like 99% of the cars on the road must be a pretty cool feeling.
Exactly the reason I could not enjoy my Saab, you are right on the money. Having a wicked highway car is a great feeling but what is the point if you can't use the power 90% of the time? It's a lot of fun, I just don't get a lot of chances to use it very often, I have a 5 mile commute to work on 35-40mph roads, It's a mean machine for sure... I have a customer or two that I could ask to show you how to use 90% power all the time around L.A.Exactly the reason I could not enjoy my Saab, you are right on the money. Having a wicked highway car is a great feeling but what is the point if you can't use the power 90% of the time?
I'm a little surpised that NObody has even emailed me about it.... not even a low ball offer...nothing........ it's probably worth more to me than anyone else..... If I end up buy something out right, I may part her out....Exactly the reason I could not enjoy my Saab, you are right on the money. I suppose I can use it when I want to, but it's mostly in a show of tire roasting power from 1st, 2nd and into 3rd........feels a little abusive, but hell, it can take it for the most part!!! Damn transmissions........I have a customer or two that I could ask to show you how to use 90% power all the time around L.A..
They come in to buy motor mounts a lot....
You won't get anything from TSC or TSL, trust me. I got the advertisement on TSN and after about a week of nothing, interest literally started pouring in faster than I could really keep track of. I love TSL, but you will never get any buyers here that are willing or able to spend that kind of money.I'm a little surpised that NObody has even emailed me about it.... not even a low ball offer...nothing........ it's probably worth more to me than anyone else..... If I end up buy something out right, I may part her out....but like I said, I'm in no real rush....and I'm open to offers, anything less than 7k will not have the OZ wheels go with it though.... too low and it won't have the rear ARB, 6-point brace, squid bar,.....etc.......short shifter will stay, that was pita!... but seriously people... what's it worth to you? >>>>>>>I know what you're going to say...put it on TSN... I will...probably if in a month or so I don't get any real offers here or from SC..........
