what did you use to make the LB viggen that shiny, or is it photoshop?
Thats an effect called "
high dynamic range". Essentially the photographer takes 3 or more shots using different exposures (different brightnesses, obtained by changing the length of which the shutter stays open), usually obtained by using the "
auto bracket exposure" feature found on most D-SLRs (makes it super easy, you just snap the picture, and it continues to take 2 more automatically). Then your computer combines the images to form one (I've used photoshop CS3, but there are others), and since there's so much detail to work with from the three or more images (of the same subject), the computer comes up with an almost surrealistic image.
