2000 pontiac GTX 2300$

so this is defiantly not a car for the saab crowd, but its my roomates and im just posting it around

its about as quick as a stock 9000 aero.

http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/1817496756.html

Up for sale is a 2000 pontiac Gran Prix GTX, This is a Supercharged Gran Prix with the factory SLP upgrades, including Kyb Gr2 dampeners, Ram air hood (function-able) and Black Cat exhaust. Car is a 2 door silver, automatic, with around 150k miles. cosmetically the car is in great shape, besides a large dent behind the drivers door, and a small (1-2in diameter) hole in the rear bumper. The car runs drives and passes NH state inspection,

Car has all service caught up on, including but not limited too a new fuel pump, water pump, tune up, and all belts and idler pullys, brake pads/rotars/lines have been done in the last 7k miles.

yea, the GTX was what SLP called there beefed up GTP. its a cool car that still turns heads

he wants to sell it and put the cash towards a 9-5 aero, we are looking to by one with something like a blown Headgasket, clutch, turbo, or piston, but it great cosmetic shape, so if you have a car that fits that bill, PM/call me

Yeah I know. The parts were made available to make a GTP a GTX, but factory GTX's were rare.

I did a lot of driving in a GTP, even ran it at the strip(14.8 at 98mph). Big comfy cars, easy to tune with a pulley and software.
This car has some other factory things too, like a trans oil cooler, and some of the pluming under the hood got changed,, ive been told the SLPs had lowering springs too,,, although it doesnt seam to sit that low...
such handsome and comfy cars...
does ac work?
any idiot lights to attend to?
is it leather?

i might be interested. my scion is about to go on clist.
it has black leather, no idiot lights, heads up display, sunroof, ect ect,, its a well loaded very comfortable car

Ac no longer works, due to a failed compressor. it worked when he purchased the car 4-5 years ago, but then quit out last year.

When it did work it was awesome, the duel zone climate controll would start a thunderstorm inside the cockpit

Bruce, give me a call and we can talk more about it
mike

Edit, car also comes with two sets of tires, snow tires, and a set of used, non mounted mich pilots
Two of my college roomates were pretty big GTP enthusiasts. Very easy (and cheap) to make those cars quick.
Of course Jameson knows all about the GTXs.

You know it. My years of experience in GM FWD always comes in handy. I have a lecture on the Sunbird turbo coming up next week.
bruce are you still interested?

That reminded me of that funny video with the guy saying that his 9-3ss has GTO rims, and the same motor as an S10. Gargling exhaust note.
Neat car - wish the stable had more room for variety these days. GLWS - nice ride
re-listed, really need it gone were asking 2300$
Bump, mike gave me a bit of a ride over the summer.

The ride was very nice, and wicked fun.
ah yes, i remember my grand prix days, i had 3 in my day. good, solid cars. this one is rare, looks nice too. glws.
If that was an El-Camino Bosy I'd sell my S-15 and buy that instead.

Great sedan - @ that price it ought to move very fast I would think. GL
