I don't know if anyone saw this in the classified section (were I posted it earlier), but there's a 1990 Tally Red SPG with super low mileage for $4500 on Wash D.C. Craigslist.

The link:

Probably was owned by someone living in the city, hence the low mileage, but the car could be a really good deal if the condition checks out. I don't think there are many stock SPG's at this mileage, especially ones in talladega red. Someone get it!

A buddy of mine checked it out (lives in Annapolis, close by). Apparently it is pretty rough, even for the now lowered price ($3,500). My buddy said it would need $10k to make it presentable.

There seems to be an emerging market for well cared for C900's. I know a man who paid $9k for an excellent 900T 2 years ago. I know another guy considering paying $12k for a pristine SPG in VT. Most of the buyers I am aware of are over 40 and buying their dream Saab from their youth. I find it interesting, having owned C900's since 1987, to watch the values climb.

It's about time the prices started to climb. All it ever takes is one buyer!
