17's with Aero springs

Does anyone have a picture of a 9000 running 17's with Aero springs? With spring just around the corner it's almost time to do my wheels and tires. I don't want to go lower than the Aero springs since the car is a year round driver and the PA roads aren't the best around here. I've found some nice 17's, but I don't want to go that big if it gives the jacked up look.

Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks. Looks good. Some cars just look silly with big rims and no matching lowering job. I like my Saab too much to subject it to that. Yes, I did go over the rest of the suspension last fall (springs, shocks, poly bushings and strut brace). Just wanted to wait out the winter before putting new rubber on it. Is 225/45 the recommended tire size for a 17x7 rim?

I currently have 225/45/17 on my Aero w/H&R springs/Bilstein HDs. Its real tight in some spots (mostly the rear).

I bet you get the 17's on your car and decide you want to put springs on it after all ;)

No doubt. Even with the 15's on now I wish I went a little lower. I put the Aero springs on recently enough that I should be able to resist the temptation for a little while. Of course I may just be putting 17's on as an excuse to drop it some more. This should probable be a new thread, but are there any springs that lower less than the 40mm drop that seems so common?

Gute, I actually have SAS spacers in the back ;) Its definitely the lighting. The car doesn't sag at all. The big tires might also make it look a bit lower then it really is. 225/45s on 7.5" wide wheels really fill out the wheel wells.

I don't think its a problem at all to run 225s on a 7.5" wide wheel. You could certainly run them on a 7" wide wheel, but it doesn't mean they won't fit on one thats .5" wider.

I use 215/45/17 on 8" wide wheels on my 900...fwiw.

Do those look stretched at all to you? ;)

Well it's not exactly a problem, but in my mind if you were to increase the width of the rim, its due to the fact that you want to put more tire on the car. You having 225's on a 7.5" rim made me worried that its a max for that rim.

lol @ the 215's on a 8" wide rim!
