damn, is there a potential snow date for this? Haha, what is up with this april weather so far?

Glad I didn't put the summer tires on the aero yet.

And I don't feel bad about the 85 not being ready, since with the impending mixed bag of shit we have coming in for weather, I can only imagine they will be salting the living hell out of the roads.

Well, we have been discussing this. Unfortunately with the end of our semester quickly drawing to a close, there really is no way of rescheduling, so we're still going to go for it. Current forecast still says mostly sunny, high of 52 with PM showers. But Friday is supposed to bring some snow and slush, which hopefully will clear in time. May definitely shape up to be the most interesting one we've had thus far, but it's still a go!

Understood. Was not expecting it to turn this crappy. There is still a group of us planning on running it regardless, so anyone still willing to make the trip is more than welcome. Be safe, everyone!

given current weather conditions, I'm bailing out.
Ditto. As previously stated, I'm really excited to get to VT, blast some of those crazy roads y'all have, and hang with a different crew than normal. However, I cannot justify the long ass drive to and from in shitty weather.

Maybe someone can get another six gaps and a gulp type thing going on. I would definitely be down for that when hopefully the weather is a bit more dependable.

Sorry to flake, but definitely down for another time!

I actually came close to getting the SPG there as well; just need to flap the wiring harness back over the engine, and put the hood on. Where I am, I saw a lot of plows yesterday, but none were dumping salt or salt-brine. I can't say that would be the case over the ApGap.

Micah....lets put something together for a month from now, even if its not the Champlain Valley Car club folks. You, me, stig, Nick, Scott, Mr.E, etc. The VTG2G.

1 breakdown....that's a vast improvement over last year.

I got the SPG buttoned up yesterday afternoon and am on the road. Day late and a dollar short, but operational.
haha Yeah, and it didn't even require a tow, we had it fixed before our planned departure time xD

Glad she's up and running again!

Definitely pleased with the turnout, all things considered. If the conditions had been better, I'm sure we would have seen over 20 cars. As it is, 14 was the total count for the day, and we had an awesome time driving and hanging out. Videos and photos are forthcoming, as soon as I can knock out all the projects I have due within the next couple of weeks.
