Good movie, but I still don't understand those whose lives revolve around being high. I can see it being something one might indulge in on occasion, or for pain management, but I just don't get the people who make it a lifestyle just because they can. Basically I just hate stoners that cry about how their lifestyle is so oppressed. Get a clue hippie: lots of us have smoked and never got caught. Its all in the way you go about it.

Aside from that, I do think the legal situation surrounding weed is completely stupid. The idea that people would declare such a useful plant harmful and illegal is insane. All the things you can do with it, and yet its ignored just because some asshole doesn't want you getting a cheap and harmless buzz.

My Dad does. It manages his pain better than the pills and it's not addictive. And I can actually do things with him again because on the pills he would've been a zombie all day long. And the fact that he likes it probably helps too, always was a bit of a pot-head, ol pa was and still is I guess. Fine by me, it's been 8 or 9 years of pill hell and now it's like I got my dad back. THANK YOU WEED!

If only the gov't would listen to that. Its a prime example of why it should at least be legalized for medicinal use everywhere, if not completely for everyone. Of course, those corporate douchebags that control the world wouldn't want you taking a cut of their profits by smoking a naturally occurring substance, so good luck.

its illegal for money reasons imo. think of all the people you know who went to jail for weed. they make money by sending people to jail. which is making money off our taxes. most prisions/jails are private nowadays.


another reason for money is pharmaceutical companies. most of the pills on market today would be replaced by weed. so all they investors in multi billion business would be without jobs. and check out who invests.

nixon and regan have some funny lies about weed that mass populations think are true. check out the weed scare or marijauna madness

think of how govt reacts.......gambling is illegal but you can buy lotto from govt......drugs are illegal but you can buy them from govt... money is only reason weed is illegal in most states... i think we should have the right to heal ourselfs esp if it is natural.

when i was young and in school with d.a.r.e and all that i was brainwashed. they tried telling me weed is gateway drug yadda yadda. its a lie. they tried saying its hurting america but i dont think so. also they said beer and liqour is better but it isnt.

i think it should be up to the person not up to some outside influence. govt has there hand in too much. people are the only thing thatll help. fight for your rights


and the guy who said now he has to wait becasue hes looking for a job. i feel you there. they wont hire a pot head because weed is in their system for 30days. but they would hire a hardcore drug addict. hardcore drugs are in and out of your system in a couple days. so its easier for a crack head to pass a drug test than a pot head. crazy

pretty much saying weed regulates cancer cells. but if you listen to regan weed kills monkeys so itll kill you to.

mary jane plants have more uses than any other plant. the resin is know to cure all types of illness and is better than neosporin for cuts. gas, rope, clothes, etc list goes on and on. but the best part is its all natural. fully biodgradeable and grows fast. we could replace gasoline with this one plant and clean up the earth while growing it.

why make something bad for enviroment if we have something that will do same job better and cleaner? all our water is polluted all our land is dried up and our breathing air is getting worse and worse. do something

My wife has some pretty serious issues, most of it related to nerve damage done in her shoulder when she was born. Basically the right side of her body stopped developing as fast as the left side. Her right arm is useless, her right leg is a little smaller than her left. The lack of muscle on her right side has made her left side pull her spine sideways. It's scoliosis more or less. There is nothing that can be done about it.

Lately she's been in a lot of pain and she doesn't like taking narcotics because even a 5mg/500mg Vicodin knocks her on her ass. Ibuprofen doesn't help and upsets her stomach.

Tonight, after the kids go to bed, I'm bringing her to my man cave and have her try some weed. It can't hurt to try.

I assume she knows you smoke, and shes not against it?

Yes and she's not against it.

We talked about it this evening and she's willing to try it. She seems to react better to natural drugs as opposed to man made drugs. I attribute that to her growing up in Denmark. You aren't confronted with a wall of cold/flu/allergy/pain medication when you walk into a pharmacy over there. She didn't have acetaminophen shoved down her throat every time she she got the sniffles as a kid.
