I have a ng900 (I used it on my 94) trailer hitch I'm not going to use ever again. Its a drawtite #36196. I can bring it with me to SiS if you're interested.

Would a genuine SAAB trailder hitch on liquidation from $315.00 down to $74.95 be OK?

Viggen???
His profile says he has a 97 900SE. Does the car have a Viggen kit? I really don't think the trailer would fit on a Viggen or 9-3 for that matter.

We had to tweak ours a bit for it to work, I forget what we ended up doing but I can check later. With the Viggen bumper hanging down so low we needed to have the hitch lowered by about 1/2" for it to clear. We either put some spacers on to bring it down or extended the hitch, or maybe both, I'll take a look.

Sorry Tweek, I thought you meant the OP had a Viggen too...I responded to the email notification of the posting and forgot about 90SPG's post but thought that since you're talking Viggen bumpers he may have a 97 900 SE with a Viggen kit (like you do) and the "info under the avtrar" doesn't say itDude for real, did you read his post? Or do you just look at the avatar and read whats under that?
I'm not over here as much as you are so I don't know most of the people over here, you do!

Why didnt you talk to me a month ago. I pulled a hitch off my Viggen last year that the previous owner had put on and it sat here for a year before I just gave it away on freecycle. I had no use for it and it was just extra weight.
My fault for not offering on TSL first. I just assumed no one here would be interested as we normally all mod for speed.
Ill take a pic tomorrow and upload with the iPhone to show you the cut made and how it looks like from afar if you want, Tweak. You cant even notice it, but some cutting was required for it to fit. Let me know.

Granted, the guy who owned the car prior did notch out a small piece of metal behind the grey underlying of the bumper. Nothing on the bumper itself, but something to consider if you own a Viggen. If not, it should fit just fine. Same chasis, different, shorter, bumper.
