so when i first installed my intake everything was fine but then the stock bov started to go so i got a forged one. now that i have my 3'dp it is making the noise again. WTF do i need to change springs or is it sumthing else?

Did you get the Forge 'Eliminator' valve? It is stainless steel (and bigger than stock) but still uses a diaphragm, so it will make that 'hoot' noise the stock makes sometimes. It is the Forge 007PA that is the piston valve that eliminates that sound entirely.
i believe its the Forge eliminator with the rubber diaphram. so its normal to sometimes hear the "hoot" sound? just worried i might be loosing some boost
I believe the noise is normal. The diaphragm may be wearing out though and need replacement. If you call up Forge they will send you a crapload of replacement parts for free, just in case you are worried. The Eliminator is supposed to be a bit faster than the 007PA piston valve because the diaphragm is so lightweight, I personally run the 007PA and have had no problems, but the Eliminator has gotten very high reviews.
