I still need to make a highlight real and mail it up to Alan S. for use on the Saabtoberfest website. But I will try and rush some clips.

Funny you mention you would need new shorts Zach, 4 or 5 people threw up during the run.

Alan managed to get his co-pilot sick. Not bad for the lead car.

x2 trust me it does pass. It helps if you're not the one leading, putting faith in those in front and using them to anticipate corners & such. Alan is a superb leader and driver. I wish I had those roads as my playground.

This was my second time and to say we had a blast is an understatement.
The death grip on the wheel made me realize I do need driving gloves. :twisted:

TANK ROAD IS THE SHIT!!!!, Super smooth, super twisty, super scary. One bad move and it'd be into the trees and down the cliff. Though by that time of the run I think everyone was well warmed up and driving within their limits.:cool:

Even though my car is 98% stock [BOV] I was still very impressed at its handling. What a bitch not having my 2nd gear syncro.
I got a few pics as well but as luck would have it didn't bring my camera in today to upload them. Some of them actually look pretty good.

I honestly think this is the first time I've ever gotten a Saab to fishtail on a dry road without the e-brake! And I need to rotate my tires, and do my brakes, and so on...

oh, it has happened to me many a time in my SPG....

sucks that the last time it happened was due to sand and gravel though :(

*raises hand* it was a rough trip...and i may have been a bit...errr...sick from the night before...still had fun, even with the puking.

Yeah the night before was crazy with alcohol older than some of our parents! I got it out of my system when it all came up at Eurotech. Kinda glad I got it out before we left.

I dont think there have been many times I've walked into a house and given a bottle of whiskey 2 minutes after I sit down...and I come from a pure Irish family. ;)

If you need them hosted, I'll gladly do it. I have plenty of bandwidth and disk space to go around.

This looks awesome, wish I couldve been there. As someone else mentioned, damn you east coasters and your plethora of Saab meets.

yes, we do good with the whisky. I was a bit out of it when I woke up, I think I was STILL a bit drunk when I started out that morning... Not good, I know but I was all worked out once I drank about a gallon of water.

I think next time we should get drunk the day AFTER the run, not the day before. it does not make for a good time when your not quite right and the car is flying through the air with 4 wheels a foot off the ground.

Yeah, I had a few beers did some shots, then got coozy on a rear bench seat in the living room and pased out.
I was the first in the shower at 6:30 am. Just like xmass, I couldn't really sleep.
