2001 Saab 9-3 occasionally will not start. Ususally after it has been driven. If left alone, it will start in 5-15 minutes like nothing ever happened.
Saab mechanic is not able to diagnose or recreate it. When it happens, there is no sound, just the normal dash lights. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks |

Reg. No start after running - 1st check starter to see if it is going bad by tapping on it when acting up. If you can get it to start by tapping, then replace starter. 2nd check for faulty DIC on 4cylinder engines, but this is far less likely. My bet is the starter.
