So I went after lunch today and stopped by the closest three locations of Crazy Ray's.

At the one in Jessup, there is a what I believe to be a ng 5-spd. Not much to choose from. They had two 9-5s - one of the bumpers was cracked (damn!), the other was scratched to crap, so even if it was painted it would have been noticeable. I think the scratches came from the forklift pushing it around.

At the second one (2801 Hawkins point), there was a better selection - most of which had been gone over. A couple of spgs, ngs, and a couple 9-5s - even a 2003. Bumper was not good but I did get a fog light and even a Saab toolkit from the trunk! I also found a Saab notebook that holds the owners manual in the glovebox. Anyone need it? I have both of my originals (my 9-5 and the wife's 9-3), so this is a spare.

I went to Crazy Ray's in Mt Airy (off Twin Arch Rd) and only found one 9-5, but I found quite a few Saabs, including 9000s, 900s, 900ngs, 9-3s (including several verts) and even a 99. Most were picked over, but there are still good parts to be had on several.

I pulled the red DIC from a fresh kill 9000 2.3L (airbags were still pretty fresh), if anyone needs one let me know - they can make me a reasonable offer.

Hey everyone,

First time poster here. I'm living out in Reston (soon to be Sterling if my offer on a house gets accepted by a bank -- I'll finally have a garage). I've got an 85 S, 91 Turbo Vert and a 99 9-3.

I was just at 3 of the Crazy Rays this past weekend. Jessup was empty, Erdman had an 84 turbo, which I'm sure is this one that was listed on craigslist. sunroof was crumpled up, but otherwise in pretty good shape. Almost tempted to grab the turbo bits and try to make my 85 S a low pressure turbo.

1984 saab 900 turbo and tons of parts

And Mt. Airy had a 2002 9-3 that got in on 8/24 that was pretty much in mint condition other than a crack in the front air dam.

Other than that nothing too exciting.. Mt Airy had the most SAABs. 1 88+ vert that was well gone through, 1 92 900 sedan that was in pretty good shape, but someone already nicked the lights and dashboard, and a bunch of 9000s.

Just wanted to let everyone know in case anything was interesting to them.

Considering a run Sunday, need 9-3 or 9-5 keys with remotes in them.
