Holiday Party in January?

A couple of years ago, we had a holiday party in January, after all the normal rush was over) at Don Pablo's, which has since closed.

Suggest that we consider having another one and kick off the New Year with a get together. January 18th is MLK Day as well as State Lobby Day in Richmond.

Sond like a good idea?

I'm still working on this. I am looking at having a January membership/holiday party at the Rude Mansion. I will post this as soon as I get a date from the lovely Mrs. Rude. There will be food and drink served to the membership.

Anybody have a particularly bad weekend I should try to avoid in January? The first weekend is probably a bust for me.

I would have to have it after that weekend anyway. I forgot that the first weekend is actually January 2nd.
