Jan WasSaab Meeting?

I talked to Immo last night after chasing down one of those white mopar coupes. He is going to Detroit probably for a Pistons game the 17th, I work the same weekend, so how about the Club meeting on the 24th?

Also, lets have something new to talk about like how we picked up the club stuff, or re-upped the website?

(Also any non members that want to post up in this forum PM Blaque or Immo).

See post 11 for details.

I can do the 24th in the afternoon .......maybe even play some T5Suite games if there's any interest ..... I've been running the T7 BCV mod for several months now, and it works much better than the T5 valve !

We met in Virginia last time instead of the originally planned for Frederick. What is the place in Herndon?

January 24th Meeting

We will be having a meeting on January 24th at 1:30pm. at Barley and Hops restaurant in Frederick Md. After the meeting, those of us that are interested, will be heading over to LarryM's place 8 minutes away for T5 suite tuning and what not. Please PM Larry before the meeting if you have any special requests or you have an ECU you like him to look at. I've been to Larry's and was fascinated with the equipment and software. Hopefully I will have an update on my meeting with Penn Saab Club's principal members. Please respond to this thread if you can make it or not. The next meeting in February will be in Herndon Va.

I have the headers for the boards - if you're interested, let me know what car you drive. Any T5 ECU can be programmed. If you want to do the T7 BCV mod also, let me know - I'll post pictures of mine ..........

I am interested in the T7 BCV mod. What parts should I buy ahead of time? I take it that you will also be at the meeting?

Hi Randy -
other than a T7 BCV, you'll need the two pin connector (1278893) and two terminals (4061586). If you could source those parts from a T7 car, that would work - the connector and two pins are $21.40 from the dealer. Also, the mounting points are different on the two valves - I'll post pictures of the bracket I fabricated tomorrow.
And yes, I'll be at the meeting. Another project is to make up a jig to hold the boards in position while soldering .......

I checked around and $21.40 is not a bad price for the two pin connector 12788933 and the two terminals 4061586.

If there's interest in T5Suite, we could go to my apartment after the meeting - I know Randy is looking at the T7 BCV mod. If anyone is interested in T5 staged upgrades, we could do those, also ........
