This is really an informal GTG, and given the "Born from Jets" ad campaign Saab is running, truly is an appropriate venue. For those of you haven't been to the Udvar Hazy facility and are interested in aviation history, this is not to be missed. I figured we could round up a bunch of us and hook up and perhaps have an early afternoon dinner with them. I have a couple ideas where we could go for burgers and beer, but if any of you have a preference, I'm all ears. We'll need to make sure it can accommodate all of us, so let me know if you're planning on joining us.

"Born from Jets" at Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum...

When: Sunday, April 22, at 11:30 - noon
Where: Udvar-Hazy Smithsonian Air and Space Museum Annex
What: I nice, relaxed Saab get together with WASSAAB and CPSC, check out the museum, the Saabs, and afterwards get some grub at one of the local joints in the area.

Just got an update from Ron Nichipor, President of CPSC:
"Jim

So far, I have 12 cars and 16 people from CPSC. I don't expect this to change much. It still looks like an 11:30-noon arrival for us at the Udvar-Hazy Center."

So, let's give the CPSC a warm welcome, shine up your rides, and come see the very cool hardware at the Air and Space Museum.

For those of you who have not been, the Space Shuttle Enterprise, an SR-71 Blackbird spy plane, the Concorde SST among other very cool stuff is there to check out.

Give me a head count on who plans on coming so we can be sure we can find a restaurant that can handle all of us.

Should be a great time!

Jim Miller, WASSAAB

Hope you're feeling well, Paul! I'd like to see a great turnout tomorrow.

Got an email from Ron Nichipor, President CPSC today confirming a bunch of Pennsylvania Saabers coming down tomorrow. About 11 Saabs and 18 people are expected. I plan on being there by around 11:30 or so.

Should be a blast!

Bring cash -- museum is free, but parking is not. $12.00 to park.

Also, we'll go get some grub afterwards probably at the Red Robin over on Rt. 50.

See you all there!
