Saabs being towed.

So as not to take over another thread, I'll start this here.

I know we all got 'em. Post them up.

As seen elsewhere:

The 96 we stripped last December:

The only other times I can remember having a Saab towed were when the clutch completely failed in my '92 900S sedan six years ago while I was on my way to the mechanic to have it replaced, and when I had the shell of my stripped SPG hauled away.

I had a flat tire and didn't feel like changing it. Insurance footed the bill.

It's a Saab. Of course it has been towed. But I do not have pics of it being towed

It shredded the original belt and had to be towed one time. Wasn't too big of a deal really.

The point of this thread is not whether it was a big deal or not. The point was to post pictures of a car being towed.

Instead you posted a picture of your car on a dyno. And then an explanation of why it was towed, but no pictures.

Yeah. Ok.

Sense of humor. Find one.

That dyno was the kind they hitch to the back of a truck. It reminded me of being on the back of a flatbed.

You are correct.

"BOSTON, May 23 — An effort to end New Hampshire’s status as the only state in the country without a law requiring adults to wear seat belts suffered a setback on Wednesday, when the State Senate transportation committee recommended that it not pass. "

The other 49 states are the dumb ones.*

More great info from that article.

"Senator Robert J. Letourneau, a committee member who voted against the bill, said that he thinks that citizens, especially children, should be educated about the benefits of seat belts but that adults should not be required to use them. Requiring people to do things breeds resentment, Mr. Letourneau said, while encouragement does not.

“We can’t legislate common sense,” he said. “The point of view to put these things into law, to change people’s personal lifestyle, is not what I consider good policy. I trust our citizens to make those decisions for themselves.”
