Pics of the white 87 900-T (no 56K)

So we finished up with the 5 speed swap, light engine overhaul, and "basic restoration" on the 87 900-turbo that's going to Labrador. Went on a test-run today up near Rickets Glen, PA on a nice extensive set of dirt roads (around 20 miles worth). finally got the majority of the major systems fully in-check, even the A/C! Still needs some minor work here and there, but the major work is complete. Pics from today.

Great White/Whitey looks fantastic. You know, we now have cars that are the colors of the Canadian flag. Sweet!

as sweet as that antenna looks, it doesn't do shit.

The car is pretty nice, one of the quieter c900s that I've driven in, its kinda nice when they don't rattle and squeak all over the place.

I think the car saw some pretty light duty being that it was an automatic, and had broken intercooler pipe hoses. It actually has a pretty nice ride. not sure what shocks it has as there are no labels on them, though they are probably some middle of the road units from sears or something from looking at the rest of the repairs & maintenance the car had over the years.

Overall though, it took a pretty large amount of work to bring it into it's current state but for a $100 it's a hard deal to top.

Post trip, it's probably going up for sale. I have too many 900's!

yeah, a set of the hella 500FF's in addition to the standard Robert Bosch fog lights. Gotta make some custom brackets for the set up. Should light up pretty well!

Man, sure does remind me of the old white '88 900T I had. Pretty much rust free, white, SPG wheels, 205 width tires...ah the memories.

I have still yet to see that damn thing - heck I'd be driving that as a daily driver if I owned it! It's a Toyota 22R motor - that things can't be killed, and how bad on fuel could it be - the damn thing is like 70% fiberglass....

Nice!

If you want an antenna that really works, get yourself a K40 (or k30 which is the magnet version).
