Dirty Car pics!

Post 'em!

I'll kick it off with some front wheel filth and a very dirty car (haven't washed her in about 3 months...bad I know.)

I actually had to wipe the Saab logo on my caliper off a bit so you could see it .

Wow... hott!! Nice work man. Looks great even when dirty. You should clean it though.
And im doing that paint/lettering to the calipers. I thought I was going to be the only one, but it seems like theres a couple now that have it on saablink .

Edit: And you definantly need to do the clear corner mod and clear fender blinkers!

Thanks for the compliments...I painted the calipers and applied the lettering back in June...it's held up really well.

Clear mods are in the works...most likely once the weather warms up in the spring.

Post 'dem dirty cars! I'll try to get a pic of my hood tomorrow...there are finger marks all over it from cleaning leaves off it the other morning (my poor clearcoat!). I really need to paint my hood, all sorts of stone chips that show up quite visibly with Midnight Blue.

it's cold out right now, and windy too

Maybe this weekend...I've been toying with the idea for awhile.

I washed the 9-5 the other week while it was warm...I was too lazy to do the 9-3, but it actually needed it more.

let's raise this thread from the dead!

only because i found a good pic to post

i had washed her only a few days earlier. this had happened in the previous 30 miles. this pic was taken about 3 years ago, shortly after i had bought her, towed her home, then got her running. note the DMV tag and lack of license plate. the DMV took my rear plate after i told them i did not have a matching front. i seriously should have put that advantage to use more than i had

I need to take some pictures of mine right now. I've been out in the snow in the mountains for the last few days. Yesterday, some prissy bitch in a Whole Foods parking lot went to the trouble of slyly telling my passenger that my car was too dirty.

You know you can make that for next to nothing, right?
Look at this thread, it's not the way I'd do it, the mounting screws show up the way this guy did it. It can be done in a more descrete way

Yeah, I've seen that before. I haven't really been bothered by not having them. It'd be nice to have them, but my car (especially the front bumper and the hood) weren't in great shape when I bought it, so I'm not too OCD about it.
