Crank sensor throws most shops for a loop on these. Mounted on oil pump cover behind crank pulley. Replacement will be just the sensor, it will need to be wired in. Pretty typical for them to fail...

I'd rip that bypass mess out of there and put 2 hoses from engine to core. Sooner or later that valve starts to leak...right into the back of the alternator

Well, the transmission just flat out won't fit the car, and ideally you'd use the 9-3 head on the 9-5 block (exact opposite of the usual b2x4/b2x5 hybrid build, which is well documented on this...

I think you're going to find a cracked/damaged piston when you get that head off. That's pushing oil up into the intake through the pcv system, explaining the oil in ALL the cylinders
