I heard it also depends on the year of the T7 DI but that, in most cases, they can be swapped. (IE retrofitted.)

Just don't try to use a Red DI on a T7 car!

A good rule of thumb perhaps, but not true on the Subarus AFAIK. It might be true on Saabs, but a number of folks in Sweden are running E85 in their 9000 Aeros with, as I understand it, minimal...

No, just corrode all your fuel lines if you use it often. Though it's a lot less harmfull when there is no water.

Also, ethanol isn't as harmfull as people think. Most Saabs are designed to be...

It probably won't help much, but just thought I'd suggest heating it a little if you haven't already.

If you're interested, the reason for why the red-DI's cannot go on T7 ECU'd cars is that the Red-DI uses a thyristor to control the capacitive-discharge, whereas the black-DI uses a triac. The...

Personally, I'd like to see someone adapt the USDM Evo MR's twin-scroll turbo to the B23xR. This is a 400+ hp turbo (~15% bigger than the GT28RS) and, even on the 2.0L Evo, it can be fully spooled...

On the B212 only the exhaust cam has the 254 duration. The intake cam on the B212 (2.1L, N/A) is only 240 degrees.

However, I'd be interested to see how these cams perform. Nick T said the B234i...

It might make a small difference. Turbo cars usually get a lot more blowby though. Also, if you're already using 93 octane, or better, on your N/A car, you probably won't gain any ignition advance,...
