Does anyone have any tan front 9-5 door pulls ? Just got a '99 wagon and the front door pulls are shot!

They are probably all going to be shot.

You might be better off finding 06+ 9-5 door panels since they use a hard plastic pull and not that gross bugger material.

Saabo - I see door handles and panels like Tweek mentioned at Crazy Ray's a lot - in Virginia you guys have "u pull it" places, too... just a thought.

I've got one if Tweek doesn't. I'll throw it in my car today. Also have a trunk wiring harness for a pre-2002 9-5 that's in perfect shape that I'll bring along if anyone wants it. I have no use for it. haha Just bringing some small stuff, since I'm bringing a set of wheels for Micah that take up most of my trunk.

Can't promise my car will be looking too hot...no time to detail since it still looks like this right now....

It will be there though!

So I have never been to Carlisle, and I have a few questions:

I am interested in just coming to hang out with Saab peeps, not showing my car or anything. This means I just need to buy day passes right? Also, how does the camping work? I am coming from MA, so I will probably sleep in my wagon. Where can I do this?

Went to my local u-pull-it today and got all 4 grey door pulls. They are in excellent shape. Changed all 4 and they match the dash and don't look to bad. By the way it was the ONLY 9-5 of any kind in the yard, so I guess I got lucky. As a matter of fact, it and a 900 convertible are the only Saab's in the yard !

Dont think of it as showing your car, think of it as parking with the rest of the saabs. You want your car close for cooler access and anything else. If it rains it makes getting to other places on the field without getting soaked much better. Don't worry, this isn't a concourse.

Anyplace. Just don't get drunk and pass out with the ovlov owners.

I say it every year... I'd love to make it! I haven't been since '03 (damn I'm getting old). I've actually got friday and saturday off, but man is it one long ass drive. Especially in a c900 w/ type 6's. If I felt a bit better about the current state of the Aero maybe I'd take that... but nevertheless. Have fun to all those that are going! One of these years I will make it back out!

I'm driving almost 600 miles one way in a 9-5 with no AC, that had the engine in several pieces less than five hours ago. Lol.

Just got an other update from Central Penn regarding procedure for parking on show field. We are not parking with our models this year? We are parking with our colors? I know its always been a sunday thing to park with colors but this is the new format for show day?

"Based on the 1995 SAAB 9000 AERO Green that you registered, we have assigned you car number 104. You will be parking in the green section of the showfield on Saturday."

One of the great parts about this saab show is parking with your model.

I got the same update email..here island the reply I got from John Webber:

"We are still by car but in groups that consists of other models. It's our plan to make things go smoother! You then will only vote on the cars in your group. So 99s will still be going against other 99s! Just they will get votes from their group only. Except overall winner will get votes from everyone. The "car you would want to drive home award". and your voting responsibility is only your color section!"
