Just 4 months away!
Not really any info on the web so far.

It will be my first SOC; Who can tell me what to expect?

Mostly going on the hunt for 99 parts, is there usually a large swapmeet?

Tickets are now on sale!
$165-175 for the full package, or day passes available.

Apparently you also have to be a SAAB Club of North America member to attend, or else obtain a guest membership, both of which will cost additional $$.

The site now also has info on the Show categories and charity auction.

I've been to a few SOC and this might sound like I'm puting SOC's down, I'm not, but Carlisle is a better overall Saab experience in my opinion and a lot cheaper. It also seems that most "Saabers" tend to be from the East so having it out west might be a bit of a gamble, but I understand the fairness of having the event all across the US over the years.

The last SOC that was out west a few years ago looked great! So cool to see the OTHER huge SAAB crowd that is the PNW. I really was tempted to try and make it out for this and see all of the totally different cars, but too much going on unfortunately.

I know the "east" has a lot of SAABs, but especially in New England right now it seems hard to get any sort of organized events going on other than SCD. I've tried hard to put a good amount of cruises together the last few years and each one I do fewer and fewer cars show up Maybe my cruises suck? Maybe people are over SAABs? I dunno

I haven't been to Carlisle since '03. One of these years I'll make it back out.

Wife will be bring the 9-3 SS Hirsch. (A/C yah know) I'll drive the "slightly" modded 900c

SalemSaab, Do you know what you need to fix your 99? I just helped a guy in Chicago with his 99. Hooked him up with some 40 year old D-Jet EFI parts.

IronJoe, put down the mouse and grab a wrench.

The midwestish SOC meets I've been to (Detroit - Copper Mountain, CO - Aurora, OH - Iowa) are smaller but still fun. I've never been to the PNW and would have loved have gone but not feasible. Looks like you guys have some cool meets and hope your SOC is awesome. Post pictures!

I haven't been driving it much and the fuel system started acting up, then it didn't seem to be sparking .. had it towed to the local SAAB guru and it started fine for him
I was also worried I broke something on the track 2 weeks ago, might have just run over something though.
It's parked out of town and I'm out of state, but hopefully the SAAB Gods shall shine upon it for the week of the convention at least.

If it breaks down in Deschutes hopefully this place will work on old ones

I'll be looking to fill my trunk with any good/rare 99 parts & merch tho so if you got some stuff, bring it

Almost ready to go! Getting new shoes put on the Aero tomorrow.

Lost my DI on my way home last night! That reminds me to pack a spare.

See everyone next week!

SOC was great, i has an awesome time meeting all the westerners

In new england i like the idea of getting together, although i would much rather hang in a parking lot with friends, than go for a drive, Most of us drive our saabs every single day, its the people we go to meets for. So lets focus on the community

can i suggest a saab meet at F1 boston?
