Aside from the 21 and under awards I was the only non old fart to win anything. It was funny, when I won 2nd place my table clapped(all TSL'ers) and every other table was kind of like, who?

Bullseye's car is immaculate, his front bumper has never even been repainted. He is also old. So he was the favorite to place 1st. Old people vote for other old people and like the most stock car

Sorry on the shots. My bad.

And I know they are Piloti driving shoes. But they are still high tops. Just because they are expensive doesn't mean they are classy.

Just giving you shit, as usual.

I can't imagine the level of testosterone at that event. My guess is SOC falls somewhere between Frat house party and a Star Wars Convention.

Really it was a good time. There are the clicks of old people, many of them creepy, "come into my room for some candy" types......cough cough, million mile Saab guy.

But for the most part, everyone is cool and mellow. There are plenty of people to talk Saabs to, but it gets old. The people I hung with the most just wound up telling good stories over some beers.

And for the record, I know high tops as basketball type sneakers. My Piloti's are just below the ankle. I wasn't being snobby about price since I paid $30 for them on ebay. But if you look they are pretty low profile to be called high tops

Hey that happened to me to except the only people at my table at that time were the Dyno guys. They didn't clap either. I didn't really care I was all happy just to be called to the stage.

Well I guess that explains why...unless DougM (who counted most of the votes) snuck me in.

I like the balance of ages at SOC this year. Seemed about 50/50 younger/older. I liked even more overhearing some of those "old guys" remarking "Saablink, hmmm I'll have to check that site out. All these guys here seem like quite a lively bunch".

To comment on John's (Bullseye's) Viggen I don't think any other car got the level of pre show detailing that car recieved. Deffinitely more time and more thorough than probably all of the cars saab brought excluding the heritage collection cars. I watched John and his "crew" working on it. He brought with him the equivalent of a Nascar floor jack, btw John I think the redneck Nascar folks have finally discovered there missing jack and want it back, and detailed each rim individually over the entire rim, the wheel well's, engine bay, exterior, interior.........I swear the only part that probably didn't get touched the whole time was the underbody excluding wheel wells.
