SOC shopping list(s)

Those of you bringing parts to sell at SOC, here's a heads-up -- my SOC shopping needs.

1. vent covers for the red SPG resurrection
2. at least two (2) good center caps for the Super Aero wheels on said SPG
3. e-codes for the SPG and potentially my 2000 9-5 Aero
4. intercooler piping for a FMIC, for the SPG (yeah, check eBay, I know).
5. glove compartment door for a '78 99

I'm not sold on the FMIC I have for the SPG, I may browse some alternatives.

Everybody else - what's on your list?

As good as possible. I actually ripped the existing door out by error, trying to open it. The lock was broken and I thought I could force it. Ooops!

But I found some pretty cool stuff in there (the lock had been broken for at least 2 previous owners). There were a bunch of cassette tapes (Dave Mathews was the highlight), some hand-held pepper spray (still works - don't ask how I tested it), and some random door keys.

My 99T is a pretty good candidate for eventual full restoration. But until I get there, "Nice looking and functional" will do.

pepper spray sweet! yeah i have some good looking functional ones, none with the little strings that hold the door in the open position though, and some with missing mounting hinges, i'll see what i can scrounge up for ya if i remember.

Yeah, IIRC it's the mounting hinges I need more than anything -- that's where the door snapped off. I actually haven't looked at that in months, I should do that first. Maybe I can grab a picture tomorrow for you to look at, so we're on the same page.

Of course, anything Viggen. I'm still looking for a CF shifter knob too.
I just love going through the parts area and looking at all the stuff. It amazes me how much older stuff comes out of hiding and shows up in the parts tent.
Probably my favorite find were the speedometer and turbo gauge watches a few years back. Confuses the shit out of people when they ask me the time.

Soccerballs (or any alloys, really)for the 96.
Okay, just about anything for the 96.
E-codes for the SPG. Maybe.
Rear decor panel for the Airflow? Price dependent.

Anything any everything that I find interesting. I've not spent much money lately in preparation for this trip.

PS: Anyone need a NICE pair of buffalo grey seats from a power seatbelt '88 SPG? Paid $100, asking $100. Free SOC delivery.

no me, but its a good idea to bring them anyway if you have room. Somone will want them

I am bringing as much random crap from the 1995 Aero parts car as I can, and probably some c900 stuff in case anyone wants to buy a random thing or two.

as far as buying stuff...I'm only looking to buy a tune for the Aero. Maybe some other things that haven't crossed my mind if they pop up for a good price.
