New site looks good but very very slow

Just thought I would give feedback... new site looks great but accessing it from Australia where I am is very very very slow. It can take up to 40 seconds from the time i click a link until the page loads! :O The olds ite was almost instanteous to load pages/posts/etc. It makes viewing TSL a very frustrating experience, but I am sure it will be fixed soon!

I use both Safari and Firefox and both reflect same speeds as suggested above.

Just thought I would give some constructive feedback... cheers from down under!

no worries, seems to be a universal issue, not just cause you're thousands of miles away

Granted it is slow but there is a lot more graphics to it. But I think it looks very professional, & thought out. And from the looks of it I'm sure there's more to come.

Thanks for your hard work.

all the graphics are lightweight and the whole page should load within seconds even on a 56k connection

to jump on the bandwagon.. the site is great however it is quite slow i am at work on a very fast (T3+) connection. Any chance that it will be updated or is it the above said server issue. Definitely is not the pictures those graphics are all loaded instantly (they are quite small).

Still site looks good..

I noticed when a thread finally opens, all the pictures are fully loaded already. Maybe that has something to do with it...

The site has moved servers and Cedric is taking advantage of the unlimited Bandwidth to finish off his '80s porn collection. Expect the speed should pick up a bit after that.

Calm down folks. Working out some bugs, but we'll get it running fast again.

A couple things took place. Site move to a new server, server administration software upgraded, and new site layout/design uploaded.

With all of these things going on at the same time.. there's bound to be issues.. of which we are resolving.

In regards to it being "overcomplicated".. just read. Well add link and everything to make it easier to navigate. There's alot to be added, but I think its a huge step forward for TSL.

Don't get me wrong, I love it.

I can't wait to see all the other sections grow as well.

It seems a little faster now..

I also changed "the" to "it's".

I think it reads better.

Site looks great! I had no idea this was coming... Haha but i'm not gonna lie, it does seem a little bit slower...

p.s. that spider pig hidden text was hillarious! I thought someone hacked the server and was playing a prank.
p.s.s. tv and computer screens are really freaking my eyes out right now i dunno why...
