Best way to get rid of body roll
whats the best single way to get rid of "body roll"

roadkil34 05-31-2004 07:14 AM

id have to say ive heard the most about two things

expensive - springs, shocks, and dampers
inexpensive - rear sway bar

not quite sure on that though, thats just what ive heard

good sway bars and bushings would do the trick. Also - if your shocks/struts are old - new inserts or even springs may be in order.

I vote sway bars. Front and rear.

Ive got stage 2 anti roll bar, and new springs on my viggen. Im putting the konis on there soon, and that gets rid of just about all of it.

springs and poly sway bar bushes did it on my 9k

Sub Frame Brace helps tighten up front end and reduce torque steer. Got one for sale (see thread in Items for Sale). I also live in CT. Will deliver if close.

In order of most improvement to cost:

rear sway bar

This guy knows what hes talking about.... ^

Rear Bar will give a good result with little to no ride quality reduction.
Tires, Look for High load rating. 91 or better 16s or 17s depending on local roads.
Springs (if base or high mileage do shocks too)
Quite a few others but these are the best cost / performance ratio.
