Thanks Pimp,
I think I read somewhere, maybe even on the GS site that it bolts up...

The box just looks a bit different.. Maybe it's just the picture.

Does anyone know if these are strong gearboxes... Stronger than the one I got?
And if I did get this 6 speed box will my Quaife lsd work with it ?

Here is one on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/160934466...84.m1423.l2649

The case is pretty different, but the bolt pattern on the bellhousing looks the same, along with starter placement and driveshaft. You may have to get creative with the trans and possibly rear engine mount.

The F40 is rated for 30ft/lbs more 295 vs 265, at least from what I've read before. As for if it fits...I have no idea.

IIRC this can be done, but you end up with a reversed shift pattern if you try to use the stock shifter and linkage from the NG900/OG9-3

Before we get ahead of ourselves, why not consider the ratios of the diesel box; wouldn't they be very tall for the low-end grunt of a diesel? This is not conducive to bigger turbo's as you want those rev's higher. All I'm saying is that it could amplify off-boost bog...maybe have a shorter final drive?
