SAABsport exhaust on the Viggen?

Good idea or are there better alternatives? Forget the Remus. I'm not paying $650 for a rear muffler.

Thanks. That's your only change? Sounds a little raspy for an old fart like me. What do you think?

I think that's what I have on my viggen. Originally I went 3 in exh and it was annoying, I would get that annoying resonance at certain speeds and when accelerating sometimes, my wife completely hated it.

Kept the downpipe but went with a saabs port exh. Sometimes I wish. It was slightly louder due to not hearing the exh in the car. But rather be to quiet vs to loud. ,

I think that was actually with the GS downpipe. I have an older vid with stock downpipe somewhere. It's sounds like that outside, but you really here none inside. No drone, and just a tad of rumble if you peg it. I liked that setup a lot.

Same here w/ GS V2 DP and Saab Sport. Best of both worlds - quiet on light throttle and then roars like a lion when you need it too.

Well, I got the SAABsport today and installed it. Sounds good. I have the SAAB squarish tip on it right now but I'd like to get something that looks more like the stock Viggen exhaust tip.

BTW, all the fuss I was making about saving the Viggen tip and using it on the new exhaust? It's not even the original tip. It's a clone made by someone else.

Ya I forget the company name but if you search google for 2.5" rectangular exhaust tip, it usually comes up quick.

The reason I haven't done a saabsport yet is just because the stupid flex pipe section will be a bottleneck since I have a 3" downpipe.

I just noticed the Borla tips actually look like the ones SAAB use to sell.

This is the one I was referring to, which is cheaper but it's 2.25" inlet diameter.

Exhaust Tip (Muffler Tip) - 2.25" Exhaust Tip w/ Oval Outlet 1405
