V6 Trans: Dismantle for 4:45's?

I have a v6 manual trans with 4:45 gears. I'm thinking I may be better off pulling it apart and selling the 4:45's and saving the other parts for myself.

So my question is, would anyone be interested in a set? I see GS has them listed for 275, so I will ask the same, but feel free to make an offer. It would be a couple months, think thanksgiving, before I will have the time to tear the trans apart as well.

Bring it down to me durring thanks giving & I'll buy the set "Reasonable offer" while giving you the trans class @ the same time. I need to whip up a 9k box so we'll build that for the class, Or unless you have some thing you need to swap your v6 gears into. we can do that too.

This class needs to become a real event, If it is during a normal school break i will probably be there to attend, and offer a tuning FAQ session as well....

Good, I'm compiling a list or other work for you for the next time you can come down. I have a viggen with Nordic tune from sevaral years ago that may just be a tune issue, Or the trionic is just plain bunk & needs a new one. A 95 with funky Drivability problems that i think a MikeD massage might straiten out. Once we have a date set i'll schedule accordingly to make the trip worth while.

I like the idea. I don't need the other parts put in anything, I was just going to save some of the non wear items in case I need some spares later on.

Pm me and we can discuss a price.
