Do I need to change my FPR ?

Wad up ?

O.K for those that don't know it's a 97' stage 5.

Do I need to change my fuel pressure regulator to a 3.5?
I still got the stock one on.

*Stupid Question*
It's that thingy on the end of the fuel rail, huh ?

stock injectors or what? Some tuners up the FPR to give similar results to running slightly larger injectors.

If you are stock injectors and stock FPR... I can only imagine you need more fuel. Talk to your tuner!

You're on 42# injectors, right? And a JZW stage 5? I believe that's suppose to have a 3.5 bar FPR. Unless it's different for a 2.0 vs 2.3. I may very well be wrong.

Edit. I looked on his site and it doesn't say one way or the other. I guess you'd just have to discuss it with him.

Pretty sure just the T7's need a different FPR. T5 mod for the same power is the 3.0bar MAP sensor that we needed. As far as I know, you just need the MAP. That's all I have.

Check with the person who set up your tune,, Fuel calcuations are based upon both presure, and injector size. Only the person who set up your ECU will know

Hmm... The PO of my car put an up-rated FPR on it. I guess I need to be on a factory unit. Hmm. Gonna shoot John an email.

I'd love a hydro clutch.
Not much around this neck of the woods tho .

I'll see how long this cable lasts for.

I just changed it. It was easier than I thought it was going to be.

Bogan; don't you have green giants in there? Why do you ask about FPR after having the tune/setup for quite some time now? Not running right? Wideband lean? What's up?

Yeah, I got green giants 42lb er's
Everything is going great. The car is crisp.

Just me being a total noob sometimes, Was curious why guys were talking about a 3.5 fpr on their tunes.
But it seems it's a T-7 thing.
