Exhaust bend radius around the gas tank

So I've gone to 3 different exhaust shops and they've all told me that a crush bend for a 3" pipe wouldn't work very well at the section where the exhaust raps around the gas tank. It looks like the bend is at a 110 degree angle but does anyone have an idea of what the radius of the bend is? I'm looking at some piping kits and one company sells it in a 4" and 6" radius.
Thanks fellas.

Side note: Anyone in MA want to weld this thing for me lol?

I always go to lou's in quincy. Guy is super imaginative and there's nothing impossible for him.

Why won't you get a Saabsport?

$500 Lou's non-mandrel, non-stainless exhaust is fail.

The JT exhaust is mandrel bent (aluminized steel), and fits just fine.

The only tweaking had to do with where the DP comes near the AT housing. If you have AT, you have to heat up the exhaust and give it some whacks with a hammer so that you get a small gap in order to avoid having the exhaust vibrate against the housing.

Who sells JT these days...I remember JZW used to sell the turbo back for like $550 or something crazy like that which I would probably buy.

I don't want a saabsport because it doesn't include the flex portion and if I had that made, I would be over $500. In a worst case scenario I could have a shop do 3" all the way back to the front of the gas tank and downsize to 2.5 so that they can do a crush bend a little easier around there...or bring them a mandrel bend for that section.

Interesting question

GS has sets listed but they are only for up to 03 and are not complete (you have to put a cat on it)

Maptun has full sets, but their prices are smoking crack (and they sell through SoN, who will jack the prices even more without vasoline)

not too many more, it seems.
