Cobra pipe vs old style intake pipe for tdo4 question

I have the old style intake pipe on my 00se 9-3 with tdo4. I picked up a cobra pipe. The bolt hole for the top line that vents gases from the valve cover to the intake pipe is different. My old one has threads and the new one does not and is also just smalled than the bolt itself. What do i do or did i get the wrong one?

nevermind that post, I always ran a cobra pipe on my 900 with the tdo4. I was confused

you could probably find the push-in style vent tube on eeuro

Saab Oil Trap Hose | Genuine Saab Part Number 5961610 | Free Shipping

this would work for you, or I have a spare cobra pipe that has the threaded hole for the pcv that I would be willing to sell

this is the issue where the old bolt from the pcv line will not fit. The old pipe does not flare at the top like the new one i picked up

To make the line from eeuro work you would either need to cut and adapt it to your old line. Or I think you would need the newer style valve cover which uses the quick connect pcv fitting.

I know that the later 9-5s actually have a quick connect nipple on the valve cover for the pcv system. I think it's actually part of the cover. I think it's 04 and up with the unpainted valve covers.

the link of the pcv linefor sale looks like it connects to the pcv box update instead of the valve. Anyway, how much do you want for your that will work with the stock bolt

Does anyone have any pics of the push in style line? Did you ever try splicing the stock line to use this new fitting for the king cobra pipe?
