ECU Swap

My 1999 9-3 is T5. My original ECU has been flashed Stage 3. I am looking to see if anyone has taken out their original ECU and swapped with another T5 ECU off a car of the same model and model year.

Yes, just be sure that it's the same motor 2.0/2.3 and same trans auto/manual as yours if you want an ECU to revert back to stock. They are plug and play.

If it's from a different T5, it can still be flashed with the stock software that your car needs.

cool deal

thanks for the info. I thought this was the case, I just wasn't 100% sure. I need my car to "behave" for emissions this week. LOL
