What model years of Cobalt SS transmissions work for this F25/F35 internals swap?

the ones that came with f25 transmissions. cavilers, saturns, kia's,etc have a f25 too

why would you want to swap internals from f25 to f25? custom gears?

The majority of Saturns & Cobalts had F23 Not F25. Totally diffrent transmissions. The F23 was made in Italy. The F25/35's were made in sweden & only used in Ion Red line & Turbo/Supercharged Cobalt SS models. The Cheap Cobalt SS came with F23. I should have taken pictures the last time i had a F23 out of a saturn, Its a Tiny little thing.

You want MU3 or G85 listed transmissions for Saab intarchangable parts boxs. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-COBALT-...item2a0eb1b1fc

^ Thanks...so it looks like 06 and on.

I need a new (used - low mileage) gear set. I shredded 5th, as well as the shaft splines for 5th.

Anyone have pn's for the Viggen 5th gears as well as the gear shaft (the shaft that drives the "forked" 5th gear)? I have a spare Viggen tranny, I am just not sure I want to put high mileage gears back in the box...

5th gear, old #8781916, new #9117777
5th gear shaft #12791536 not sure on which shaft your talking about but this number is for the shaft the gear is attached to.
