suggestions for modding saab 900s

Hi everyone new to the website and im stoked! that i found a forum site im on my second saab and this time its a 1998 saab 900s I want to mod it out. for the body i want to shave the emblems and black out all the lights and get a new grill along with new suspension but since this is my first non turbo saab i was wondering if anyone has done a complete engine/turbo swap for this model or a supercharger if thats possible any feed back would be awesome

Yes someone has done that. It can be argued that unless you've a shop and a spare Saab 2.0 sitting around, the cost to do isn't worth it but to answer you question, yes, it has been done.

As far as supercharger, not sure.

2.3I can be quite fun. Lots of work to make decent power from the NA though. Much cheaper to sell yours and buy a turbo model.

ive got a port matched intake manifold for sale
it can help a lil in the higher rpms and a lil with throttle response
just shoot me a pm

like nick said, you can still have fun with the N/A

ive done both a turbo kit for the stock engine

One think you may want to think about it is that if you want to swap a turbo motor grab a 2.3 block instead.

I thought the 98 NG900 used the same suspension bits as the 99+ OG9-3. But some listings say otherwise.

I believe Eibach makes lowering springs. They are typically regarded as some of the best.
