Bottom motor build is now completed.
http://www.stcf.net/RaceMosa/Mbuild/
The big HX60 visible in the first pic was a joke, that crazy I aint yet and the HX55 will go in as planned.
In the pic where there is 3 holset, the farmosut to left is a super40, HX55 in the middle and the billet HX60 at the right. The "small" tbo is from a turbo porsche, somewhat bigger than the 15T

Hmm, looks like you got some redecorating going on.

Those runners look to be a lot bigger than 42mm, what size are they? And I see a pretty large air filter sitting there, are you planning on running that right off the housing? I can't tell for sure how the clearance is, from the angle in your picture.

Any idea when you'll be able to start taking in numbers on this?

Looks good!
Should make some serious power and torque high in the rpm band.
What cooling fans are those on the radiator?
You guys still using Clevite bearings over there?
They are hard to find over here in the USA.

For some reason the shape creates an "optical illusion" and the mani looks alot bigger than it is. Runners are 42mm and the tube lengths are around 30cm from flange to flange.
For intake there will be a short horizontal pipe and then that filter which is visible in the pics, so wont loop it the high (original) route in this build.

Will be some weeks before the car is back on road. Will be first with old engine and after some testing will swap in the new engine.

Cooling fan brand is unipoint, stuff what local car part shops sell as universal fans.
Bearings the stuff PFS sells.

You mean after you blow it up?

Did some 5 minutes research and found this; please tell me there's something to this map because that's something like 92lb/min.

Turbo specs!

Aim is not to blow up the spare engine, but to test how the new turbo spools up when bolted to a "known" engine.

Yes the Pro52 compressor side is good fore 90+ lb/min, or in other words reaches to near 1000bhp figures And no the hunt is not for 1k HP figures, but since all the turbo so far have ran out just when you orchestra begins to sing, so better to over dimension it a "little" to avoid that problem

I hope that over dimension is 100bhp, I'm really curious to see what a 900hp Saab looks like. I'd like to see how a stock motor fairs with that much airmass, I'd like to play with a Borg Warner S3xx maybe in a couple years maybe when I'm a part of the full-time labor force.

I think Drew purchased an HX50 with that wheel for his RX7..
