keep the cat.

get a high flow one. it will not effect your power. do some searches on here before you jump to that descsion.

and it will be loud. i have a 3" dp w/ race cat, 2.5" sport cat back. its quite at idle, but its pretty loud at WOT.

okay.

i guess you made up your mind then.

did you turn off the rear o2 or are you going to live with a CEL?

It really wont be that loud, go for it if you want, but know that the CEL light will go on if you don't have it turned off in the ECU by a tuner.

yes you can but you'll have the CEL on due to the rear o2 not seeing a diff from no cat

yup.

but without a cat you will get a CEL until either you put in a cat, or get JZW to turn it off.

Best bet is probably to bring the downpipe (has to catalytic converters on it) to a metal recycler and turn it in for scrap. That is probably the way to get the most money out of it, since it is the same downpipe as every other T7 9-3, and it not an upgrade in any way, shape, or form.

cant you do a basic MIL eliminator like they sell for mustangs for the rear O2 sensors? I think they are basically a resistor....?
