Coilover fun!

Recently installed Nick T's coilovers with koni shocks in my car and i'm very happy with the setup. A lot stiffer and handles much better than my vogtland and bilstien setup. Few teaser shots....

3 turns left on the sleeves pulled perches in the rear. It's lowww full car shots soon...

Is this car a DD?

I think Nick labels things Race only for a reason, but if you like it whatever, that's all that matters

Is the coilovers only in the front with std springs in the back that's what it seems like to me on the website how much was the kit? What modification was needed to the upright?

vogtland springs in the rear with bilsteins, coils up front with koni adjustables
spring perch needs to be removed from the upright then grinded/milled down to fit the sleeve over, sleeves are jb welded on. the kit was 400 not including konis.

I always wanted to get this coilover setup with stiffer than vogtland springs in the rear. I am very interested in a full shot!

Just go out and take some pics.

So how does this work exactly with only coilovers in the front? Wouldnt a massive drop cause big time rake?

Rake is good if the rears are stiff too....

Keeps the weight on the front longer for better traction....

What do you mean rear perches are removed? Any further details or pics? What spring rate did you go with up front?

Front springs are 300lbs, the helper springs aren't installed but i might be putting them in this weekend. I took out the bump stops and the rubber pads that the rear springs sit on I keep referring to them as perches sorry. pics coming soon be patient haha

If you had a 6 point brace you'd be dragging it... Or it woudl be sitting on the side of the road somewhere downtown. lol.

Doesn't the lower pad keep the spring centered and in place? Isnt the spring just sitting on bare metal on both sides now? That doesn't seem like a good idea.

I think this is exactly why Nick doesn't advetise it for the street. He doesn't want somebody installing them and dropping to max only to put a wheel through their fender.

Hope your not running them adjusted that low.

the car is not "slammed" if thats what you're thinking I can still clear speed bumps and I bought the kit for performance but being able to lower the car is a nice capability and i'm putting it to use. I didn't waste 400 on the kit just to scrape my downpipe and brag about it.
