Many of us use eBay intercoolers because there are a ton of them and they are quite well made.

I had one in my modded SPG and one in my mega horsepower c900 vert.

i've never had a problem with mine when i had my spg. i'm thinking about one now for my vig. 500 bucks that bolts up or 200 plus custom piping and labor to make everything work. thats the bottom line.

Yeah, you can spend a bunch of money on one that has welded tabs or buy a $100 intercooler without piping.

+1, $140 mine (price now down to $100, I believe) plus $60 for an ebay intercooler kit and I bought one silicone elbow elsewhere for $20 maybe. It's not as hard as it seems and it's worth the effort. Being lazy isn't an option, though

^ don't bother with the "viggen" one. It's the same as any 9-3 intercooler.

It would be cheapest to use the tubing that comes with the kit, but not the couplers. Usually they are shitty rubber. Come to think of it, make sure you get t-clamps too.

Expect to spend maybe $100 after the IC for the bits.
